Hi Sanat! One of my best friends is a professor at UTA - Dr. Caitlin Maynard. She primarily focuses on undergraduate education, but if you ever meet her there, you two should connect! I hope your graduate studies are going smoothly!

Hello everyone, I'm Mohammad Masood. I am Ph.D. student at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi,  India. My work focuses on molecular enzymology, specifically endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS). My current research explores the impact of eNOS acetylation and phosphorylation on nitric oxide synthesis and superoxide generation. I am passionate about biotechnology and aim to contribute to advancing scientific knowledge in enzymology and biochemistry. Excited to connect and learn from this esteemed community!

Howdy, y'all! I'm excited to be here! I'm Haley Barlow, Sr. Program Manager of Outreach at UMass Chan Medical School Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biotechnology (bit of a mouthful). I also provide scientific editing services for manuscripts and grants through my business, Dr. Haley Barlow Consulting (not spectacularly creative, but gets the job done) (www.drhaleybarlow.com). I did my bachelor's at the University of Notre Dame and my PhD at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where I studied how our cells form complicated structures like our organs before we are born (aka developmental organ morphogenesis). Happy to meet y'all!

    Hi,

I earned my doctorate in Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology from The Pennsylvania State University. I am currently an Assistant Program Director for the Millennium Scholars at PSU. In this role I support students who are in their 4th year (or beyond) to prepare for the next phase of their life. While Millennium Scholars Programs emphasizes students pursue a PhD, I also support them if they are going to industry or taking a gap year or medical school. I am an advocate for holistic wellness. I'm a fitness instructor (yoga and barre) and I own multiple businesses.

I volunteer in the lab where I earned my PhD further studying the changes in metabolism that are linked to muscle dysfunction as a result of inborn errors in purine metabolism.
