The ASBMB launched its Art of Science Communication course in 2015. To mark a decade of training scientists at all career stages to present their research to nonexpert audiences, we plan to focus the January 2025 issue of ASBMB Today on science communication.
We invite all ASBMB members to submit personal essays that tell us about your experience with science communication. We’d prefer something short (under 500 words) and anecdotal — a memorable scicomm moment.
We’re also interested in submissions from people who took our course in the early days. Tell us how it has affected you personally and professionally in the years since.
The deadline for these submissions is Oct. 15. Send them to ASBMB Today's managing editor, Comfort Dorn, at cdorn@asbmb.org.
