    Seeing how annual meeting attendees decorate their badges is always such a fun part of working at the registration desk! I'd love to see a ribbon about Social Media SciComm! I work on social media and multimedia at ASBMB, and there's a great community of scientists who post to Instagram, X and TikTok. Ribbons are great icebreakers, and it'd be a fun way to connect with colleagues in this field. I also attached some great pics of attendees picking out ribbons from last year's meeting in San Antonio. : )

    I know I am in a minority here, but I would love to see a ribbon for the quantitative/computational scientists at the meeting! Maybe something fun like "Quantitative scientists really count!". Because we do!

    Totally! I work in a department that really emphasizes quantitative methods (we even just started a new PhD admissions pathway for quantitative peeps looking to apply their skills to biomedical research that doesn't require any biology education background!!!) so I'm always looking to meet people with similar interests at conferences for recruiting purposes. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Maybe model organism ribbons? Especially for fun communities like drosophila people or people using uncommon models. Gotta have the classic "hiring/recruiting" ribbon, "looking for a xxx" ribbon, "first-time attendee," and maybe other fun ones? Like dog person, cat person?
